PRAGUDES PEITUB ALGUS

Students of Estonian Academy of Arts

Every crack is simultaneously an end and a beginning – a place where a fading and old story meets something new. This crumbling may appear to be an abrupt and silencing end, like a quiet form of death that halts the existing flow. But it is not emptiness. Right from this deep and jagged rupture, where everything seemingly stops, a new vitality begins to emerge.

Beneath the broken surface, in the hidden depths, complete stillness never reigns. A secret path is being forged there and life begins to flow – a movement that takes place while hidden. Thus, the beginning and the end are always irreversibly intertwined, moving together through darkness and light.

Pragu ise kujutab endast liikuvat vaikustThe crack itself represents a moving silence. It is a moment and a place where complete peace and hidden tension, stagnation and renewal, meet. A crack does not signify destruction, but a breaking point that fuses broken parts together, creating a new and more perfect whole out of something shattered.
