Who we are?

MTÜ Valgusklubi is a public interest organization founded in spring 2011 by Eva Tallo and Priit Tiimus. The board of the association includes Eva Tallo and Elo Liiv, who joined in 2012.
The aim of MTÜ Valgusklubi is to raise awareness of light art and electric lighting and to share knowledge in this field. To achieve this, the organization organizes training sessions, conferences, seminars, workshops, information and educational days related to light art and lighting design, as well as public events that introduce and promote light art and lighting design, including festivals.

HISTORY
MTÜ Valgusklubi
- It makes light “audible” through seminars and conferences, provides lighting-related consulting and training, and guides people toward various areas of lighting knowledge.
- It makes light VISIBLE by analyzing and highlighting lighting projects and by organizing light-focused projects and study visits in urban space.
- It turns light into ART by creating and promoting light installations and involving people in participatory actions.
- It connects people for whom light is not just the alternation of night and day, but a POSSIBILITY TO TRANSFORM REALITY.
