The interplay of plants, glass, and light

Light is one of those elements that enables growth, and upon which life and the joy of living depend. Shadow is needed for resting, for gathering strength, so that at dawn / in spring, one can begin to catch the light once more. The same — if not physically, then mentally — happens to most people. And it seems that the more we have experienced long darkness, the more we appreciate and even love the light. The more surely we know and perceive that hidden in the shadows and darkness is a light that will one day once again be greater than the shadows.

Glass is a material that plays with light – it is capable of catching and amplifying it. And light – just as it can grow plants, it can also perceptually amplify glass.

The inspiration for the exhibition is the light hidden in shadows, noticing it, sensing it, and interpreting it.
