Cätlin’s folk tunes blend with Jaan’s spoken-word and musical touch into a fresh folk compote, brimming with honey-sweet fairytales and warm, crackling madness.

Cätlin Mägi and Jaan Pehk have shared the stage in various ensembles for 20 years. They have previously performed at the Viljandi Traditional Music Festival as part of the group RO:TORO.

Cätlin Mägi is an outstanding folk musician who is a masterful player of the bagpipes and the jaw harp. She brings the soundscape of ancient folk music to the present day through various projects such as RO:TORO, the Torupilli Jussi Trio, and several duos. In addition to recording more than twenty albums, Mägi is a dedicated folk music teacher and promoter who shares her knowledge in workshops around the world. With her charisma and dedication, she has inspired many and achieved recognition both at home and abroad.

Jaan Pehk is a lovely and versatile Estonian writer, singer, and guitarist. He is a member of the Tartu Young Authors' Association and the Estonian Writers' Union, and he has won many hearts with his heartfelt solo project, performing under the name Orelipoiss.
