Description

Erki Pärnoja’s music is characterized by melodic and melancholic soundscapes, sonority that drives imagination, bright, simple and yearning Nordic touch. His unique creation that pulsates between euphoria and melancholy has been recorded on five albums: : „Himmelbjerget” (2015), „Eftreglow” (2017), „Saja lugu” (2018), „Leva” (2020) and “Anima Mea” (2021). While the two first albums emphasized Pärnoja’s distinctive impressionist guitar riffs and film like soundscapes, then „Saja lugu“ and „Leva“ gave way to a more orchestra-like, multi-layered sound and dealt with existential subjects. Hence, the choir album „Anima Mea“ (2021) is a very natural next step in his work. At TAVA2021 Erki Pärnoja will be accompanied by a 5-member band.
