MT\u00dc Valgusklubi<\/strong> is a public interest organization founded in spring 2011 by Eva Tallo and Priit Tiimus. The board of the association includes Eva Tallo and Elo Liiv, who joined in 2012.<\/p>\n

The aim of MT\u00dc Valgusklubi is to raise awareness of light art and electric lighting and to share knowledge in this field. To achieve this, the organization organizes training sessions, conferences, seminars, workshops, information and educational days related to light art and lighting design, as well as public events that introduce and promote light art and lighting design, including festivals.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

  • It makes light \u201caudible\u201d through seminars and conferences, provides lighting-related consulting and training, and guides people toward various areas of lighting knowledge.<\/li>\n
  • It makes light VISIBLE by analyzing and highlighting lighting projects and by organizing light-focused projects and study visits in urban space.<\/li>\n
  • It turns light into ART by creating and promoting light installations and involving people in participatory actions.<\/li>\n

    2011 \u2013 public event \u201cLight as a Shaper of Urban Space\u201d within the Tallinn Architecture Biennale, illustrating the role of light installations in shaping urban environments.<\/p>\n

    2011 \u2013 light and sound show on the fa\u00e7ade of Metro Plaza during Design Night<\/p>\n

    2011 \u2013 pop-up gallery \u201c\u00d6\u00d6: Was it a dream\u201d lighting design and installation at Helios Cinema<\/p>\n

    Every year, we also aim to carry out a series of events called Guerrilla Lighting, which focuses on highlighting underlit problem areas in urban space. The Guerrilla Lighting movement is a fight against poor and wasteful lighting, using contrasts of light to demonstrate how illumination can change both reality and attitudes toward places that are usually avoided.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
