Aleksander Sprohgis

Aleksander Sprohgis (1982) is an Estonian visual artist, working in the fields of new media, live visuals, concerts, festivals and other events. He creates visual atmospheres for live bands, musicians, DJs and other live performers, choosing and mixing visual content live according to the specific music and scene. Aleksander uses slide projectors, projection mapping, stage lights, custom-made addressable LED modules to alter the visual environment. live visuaalid, kontserdid, festivalid ja muud sündmused. Ta loob visuaalseid atmosfääre live bändidele, muusikutele, diskoritele ja teistele live esinejatele, valides ja miksides visuaalset sisu vastavalt parajasti kõlavale muusikale ja kohale. Aleksander kasutab visuaalse keskkonna muutmiseks diapositiivi projektoreid, videomappingut, lavavalgustust ja adresseeritavatest LED-ribadest ise tehtud mooduleid.

Since 2012 he has performed at a lot of events - Independence Day Ball, Kukemuru Ambient Festival, Tolm Festival, Patareiv, I Land Sound and many others. Since 2017 he has been doing lights and visuals in an Estonian folktronica band called OOPUS.

Aleksander graduated from Tartu Art College (2010, BA in Sculpture /Design) and studied new media (MA) at the Estonian Academy of Arts (2011-2014). He worked in Von Krahl Theatre as a technician 2015-2019.
